Build Your First Product with Eisberg
Create a first website or mobile app experience using just your words. No coding or design skills required to start.
Step 1: Open Eisberg and Start a New Project
Head to eisberg.ai and click "New Project". You'll see a chat interface where you'll describe your product to the AI.
💡 Pro Tip
Think of Eisberg like talking to a product team that can create the first version quickly. Be specific about what you want, then review the result before production use.
Step 2: Describe Your Product
Tell Eisberg what product you want to build. Be clear about the purpose and main features. Here are some examples:
"Build an employee directory app where people can search for colleagues, see their contact info, and call them directly from the app"
"Create a simple inventory scanner that lets warehouse staff scan barcodes and see current stock levels"
"Make a time tracking app where employees can clock in/out with GPS verification and view their work hours"
Notice how each description focuses on WHO uses the product and WHAT they need to do. That's all Eisberg needs to get started.
Step 3: Review and Refine
Eisberg will generate a first version quickly. You'll see a live preview for the relevant surface. Don't worry if it's not perfect; you can refine it by chatting with the AI.
Common Refinements:
- "Make the search bar bigger"
- "Add a filter to show only managers"
- "Change the color scheme to match our brand (blue and white)"
- "Add a button to email someone directly"
- "Show profile photos if available"
Each request updates your product. Keep refining until it looks and works the way you want.
Step 4: Add Your Data
Now connect real data. Eisberg can help wire spreadsheets, databases, or APIs. For your first product, the simplest approach is uploading a CSV file.
Example: Employee Directory Data
Create a simple spreadsheet with columns like:
Upload the CSV and tell Eisberg: "Use this data for the employee directory". The AI automatically connects the first version. Review generated data handling before production use.
Step 5: Test on Web or Mobile
Eisberg generates a test link you can open in any browser or on a phone. Test the experience yourself: tap buttons, search for data, and make sure the core flow works on the surface your users will land on.
Testing Checklist:
- ✓ Open the test link on the surfaces your users will use (desktop, phone, or both)
- ✓ Try searching and filtering
- ✓ Test all buttons and navigation
- ✓ Check that data displays correctly
- ✓ Try on both WiFi and cellular if you are testing mobile
If something doesn't work right, go back to the chat and tell Eisberg what to fix. The AI updates your test experience.
Step 6: Launch or Share
Once you're happy with the product, click "Deploy" in Eisberg. Available options depend on the surface and release path:
- Share Link: Send a link so teammates can review the experience
- TestFlight (iOS): Use assisted iOS release prep for internal testing when enabled
- Google Play: Customer Google Play publishing is not yet self-serve
- QR Code: Generate a QR code employees can scan to install
For most teams, the share link or web deployment is the fastest way to get started.
